Two weekends a year this studio becomes a shop.The Potters Guild is a cooperative of more than fifty potters sharing a studio at 201 Hill St, and it has been running since 1949. The work covers functional pottery, sculpture, tile and wearable art, fired low-fire oxidation, raku, smoke and high fire reduction. It is not a retail shop and it keeps no public opening hours.What it keeps instead is two tent sales a year, the first weekend of June and the first weekend of December. The 2026 winter sale is Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December, 10am to 5pm both days, at the studio.One thing to check before you go: those December dates are published on the guild's own site inside its sales graphic, while the headline text beside it still names the June sale that has already happened.
