Live music and DJ nights rather than dinner. Nobody comes here at eight for a quiet drink.The schedule is tight and the venue is clear about it: Wednesday through Saturday, 7pm to 2am, confirmed on Rick's own site. Four nights a week, and the 7pm door is the latest opening of any venue in the State Street District. Sunday through Tuesday it is shut.Church Street between S University and Willard is the densest late-night block in the district. Rick's, the Garage Bar and Pizza House are all within a hundred feet of each other, and all three run to 2am or past it, which is why this corner rather than State Street itself is where the district's night actually happens.
