The quiet field, and where the tall firs are.This is Urquhart's satellite field at 10011 Jackson Rd in Chelsea, a few minutes from the main farm on Jerusalem Rd, and it exists for two kinds of visitor. People who want a tall Fraser fir, because that is what this field grows best. And people who do not want the weekend crowd, because the main farm fills up and this one does not.The trade is a smaller selection and fewer amenities. There is no gift shop and no wagon ride out here. It runs full service Friday through Sunday 10am to 5pm, and self serve 10am to 5pm on any day the main farm is not running full hours, which in practice means it is open more days than almost anything else in the county.Same phone as the main farm, (734) 433-8733, and the same pricing: 99 dollars for seven feet and under, 13.50 a foot at eight and over, shaking and wrapping included.
