Thanksgiving in Ann Arbor 2026: Who Is Open, and Every Order Deadline

Every 2026 Thanksgiving order deadline in Washtenaw County, which restaurants are confirmed open on November 26, and why the Google card will mislead you.

Zingerman’s Deli closes Thanksgiving Day. Google does not say so.

Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, November 26. Two questions matter between now and then, and they have completely different answers: which kitchens will actually be open on the day, and which ones will still take a to-go order once you decide not to cook.

The second question is the one with a clock on it. Six places print a calendar order deadline, seven cutoffs in total because Knight’s runs two, and every one of them falls before the holiday. The earliest is Friday, November 20, and two separate kitchens close that day. Three more places end ordering by shape rather than by date. One perk expires on Thursday, November 5. We checked each one against the restaurant’s own website rather than a listing aggregator, and every hours claim on this page says where it came from.

Weber’s is missing from that table on purpose. It is the only place on this page whose Thanksgiving to-go order is picked up on Thanksgiving Day itself, so it belongs in the next section instead.

What is actually open on Thursday, November 26

Confirmed open, from the restaurant’s own site:

Weber’s Restaurant, 3050 Jackson Ave. Lunch 11am to 2pm with a plated turkey entree at $24.99, dinner 4pm to 9:30pm with a plated turkey entree at $29.99. Reservations are open now for parties of 1 to 8, a credit card deposit holds the table, and changing your guest count inside 72 hours forfeits it. The Habitat, the casual room at the same address, runs 4pm to 8:30pm on a first-come basis with a similar menu, which makes it the fallback if the dining room is full. Carryout on the day is capped at six entrees per order and one order every ten minutes. Source: webersannarbor.com Thanksgiving 2026 offer page.

The family-style dinner to-go here is $260 for 8 to 10 people, and pickup is Thanksgiving Day between 11am and 3:30pm at the hotel entrance, not the restaurant door. Weber’s calls the supply “limited” and takes these orders online only.

Gandy Dancer, 401 Depot St. Open, with a narrowed card: only two menus run on November 26, a $59 three-course and a $49 turkey dinner, with a two-course children’s meal at $21. Reservations are strongly recommended, which for the old train depot on a holiday should be read as required. Source: gandydancerrestaurant.com Thanksgiving event page.

Texas de Brazil, 760 Briarwood Circle. Open, serving the regular dinner menu plus holiday dishes. One caution: the page is the national one, and it says “most locations open at 11:00 AM” rather than naming Ann Arbor. The Briarwood restaurant does not normally open until 5pm on a Thursday, so an 11am arrival is a six-hour bet on the word “most.” Call 734-336-7119 first. Confirmed closed, from the restaurant’s own site:

Zingerman’s Delicatessen, 422 Detroit St. The Thanksgiving menu page states it plainly: “Zingerman’s Deli is closed on Thanksgiving Day.” Its Thanksgiving items are available on Wednesday, November 25 and no other day. Google currently shows the Deli open 11am to 7pm every day of the week, Thursday included. Source: zingermanscatering.com 2026 Thanksgiving menu.

Salt Springs Brewery, 117 S Ann Arbor St, Saline. Closed, on the strength of a dated entry in its own event calendar titled “Closed for Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, 2026.” Its Google card shows Thursday 11:30am to 8:30pm. Source: saltspringsbrewery.com event calendar.

Why the Google card will mislead you on November 26

We pulled the Google Places record for 24 Washtenaw County food businesses on November 3. Not one of them has a holiday exception set for November 26. Every card returns its ordinary Thursday hours.

That is not Google being wrong. It is Google being empty: special hours are a field the business fills in, most have not filled it in yet, and a blank field renders as a normal Thursday rather than as a warning. So on Thanksgiving morning the card for Zingerman’s Deli will read 11am to 7pm while the Deli’s own menu page says it is closed, and the card for Salt Springs will read 11:30am to 8:30pm while its own calendar says closed. Two businesses we have first-party proof about are already contradicted by their own Google listings, three weeks out.

Weber’s is the subtler version. Its card shows Thursday 7:30am to 2pm and 4pm to 8:30pm. Its actual Thanksgiving service is 11am to 2pm and 4pm to 9:30pm, so the card is wrong at both ends on the same day: it opens you three and a half hours early and closes you an hour short.

The practical rule for November 26: a Google card showing ordinary hours is not evidence of anything. Treat a first-party page or a phone call as the only hours that count.

The to-go menus, with what they cost

Zingerman’s Roadhouse, 2501 Jackson Ave. The Full Family Feast is $620 and serves 8 to 10: a whole free-range turkey either coffee-spice smoked or oven roasted, three quarts of mashed potatoes, three pints of gravy, sage stuffing, roasted vegetables, cranberry relish, a Bakehouse loaf and a Bakehouse pie. Piece by piece a whole turkey is $280 and serves 10 to 15, sliced turkey is $18 a pound, and most sides are $28 to $32 a quart. Everything comes cold with reheating instructions and the Roadies load your car while you wait in it. Source: zingermansroadhouse.com Thanksgiving To-Go menu, preorder by 12pm November 21.

Zingerman’s Delicatessen. The Complete Thanksgiving Feast is $325 with a whole bird or $340 carved, and generously feeds 6 to 8. A per-person plate is $22, which is the most sensible number on this whole page if you are two people who want the meal without the leftovers, and pie is $9 a slice. Raw trussed Ferndale Market birds are $185, cooked $210. The Deli expects to sell out of items before the November 20 cutoff. Source: zingermanscatering.com 2026 Thanksgiving menu.

Salt Springs Brewery, Saline. $225 for 5 to 6 people, tax and packaging included, with a choice of smoked turkey breast, smoked beef brisket or Mama Mucci stuffed shells, plus harvest salad, jalapeno-cheddar cornbread stuffing, whipped potatoes, gravy, maple roasted acorn squash, cranberry-apple sauce, Grand River Bakery rolls and pumpkin spice creme caramel. A sides-only package is $125 for the same spread without the entree, which is the right answer if someone in your house has strong opinions about brining their own bird. Pickup is at the pergola. Source: saltspringsbrewery.com Thanksgiving Packages event page.

Gandy Dancer. $325 for 10 to 12, the largest head count per dollar here. Pickup is Wednesday evening 5pm to 9pm or Thanksgiving morning 9am to 11am, and it is the only to-go on this page with a morning-of option. Order by November 5 and they add a $25 bonus card, which is two days from now. Source: gandydancerrestaurant.com Thanksgiving event page.

Plum Market, 375 N Maple Rd. The deadline here is a shape rather than a date: 72 hours’ notice, rolling. The Thanksgiving Dinner Package is $280 and serves 8, but note the turkey arrives uncooked, 14 to 16 pounds, needing 4 to 5 hours of oven time, so this is a shortcut through the shopping and the sides, not through the cooking. Smaller holiday dinner packages run $95 for 3 and $180 for 6, a spiral ham package is $160 for 6, and a vegan package is $80 for 2. Everything is sent cold. Curbside is not available at either Ann Arbor store; collection is inside, at The Kitchen. Source: catering.plummarket.com Thanksgiving packages.

Texas de Brazil. $175 for 4 to 6, $275 for 7 to 10, built on a 3lb or 5lb roasted turkey with peppercorn gravy, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, the house rice and beans, green beans and cranberry sauce. Pickup and delivery are Wednesday, November 25 only, and their own page warns that you have to select 11/25/26 at checkout or the order will not go through. Source: texasdebrazil.com Thanksgiving To-Go Feast page.

Busch’s Fresh Food Market, 2240 S Main St. Holiday meals, sides and bakery items, order by noon on Monday, November 23. That is the latest hard cutoff we found anywhere in the county, which makes Busch’s the backstop if you are reading this during the week of the holiday. Source: buschs.com holiday meals page.

Knight’s Southside Market, 3660 Plaza Dr. Worth reading carefully, because the pre-order is not run out of the Liberty Street steakhouse and there are two different cutoffs. The prepared Thanksgiving meals are $70 for 2, $150 for 4 and $375 for 10 to 12, and ordering closes at noon on Friday, November 20. Collection is Wednesday, November 25, in either a 9am to 12pm or a 1pm to 5pm window, and not from inside the store: pickup is a refrigerated trailer in the parking lot, with signs posted. A fresh whole Amish turkey is a separate program on a later clock, from $4.49 a pound, closing at 5pm on Friday, November 20, collected at the cashier or the meat counter on Monday the 23rd, Tuesday the 24th or Wednesday the 25th. Beyond the meals there is a full sides and bakery list on the same noon Friday deadline, including a pumpkin pie, a Kentucky bourbon pecan pie, green bean casserole, Yukon Gold mash and turkey gravy. Call 734-887-6899. Source: Knight’s Southside Market storefront on app.barn2door.com, pickup windows and order cutoffs read from the store’s own fulfilment schedule.

What we could not verify, and why

Three we will not guess at:

Common Grill, 112 S Main St, Chelsea. This one we can now read, and the answer is that there is no answer. The page is titled “2026 Holiday Ordering” and it lists exactly five pre-order items with prices: a holiday bread tray at $19, two dozen unbaked rolls on a baking tray with instructions; white cheddar mashed potatoes at $35 in a half pan that feeds 8 to 10; a quart of traditional turkey gravy at $18; a pumpkin cheesecake at $38 on a gluten-free Oreo crust; and a pint of salted whipped butter at $6. What the page does not contain anywhere is a date. There is no order deadline on it, no pickup window, and the word Thanksgiving does not appear, though turkey gravy and pumpkin cheesecake make the occasion fairly clear. So the prices are solid and the clock is unknown. Call 734-475-0470 for the cutoff. The Grill is closed Mondays in normal weeks, which is worth knowing if you were planning a pickup run.

Zingerman’s Bakehouse, 3711 Plaza Dr. The Bakehouse keeps a holiday-hours page, which is more than most do, and on November 3 it reads “No holiday hours to report!” Read that carefully: it means no exception has been posted, not that the Bakehouse is open on Thanksgiving. Its standing hours are 7am to 7pm daily. Future orders can be placed three or more days out.

Cornman Farms in Dexter ran Thanksgiving pickups in past years, and we found no 2026 page for it, so there is nothing here to report rather than a last-year menu dressed up as this year’s.

One thing worth borrowing from how we checked this

The fastest way to catch a recycled holiday page is the calendar. Thanksgiving moved from November 27 in 2025 to November 26 in 2026, and the weekdays moved with it. Every date on the pages above is internally consistent with 2026 and inconsistent with 2025: “Sunday, November 22” is a 2026-only pairing, because November 22 was a Saturday in 2025. Same for “Friday, 11/20,” a Thursday last year, and “Monday, November 23,” a Sunday last year, and the Wednesday, November 25 pickup date that was a Tuesday last year.

Four independent date-weekday pairs that only work in 2026 is how we know these are live 2026 programs and not last year’s copy left up. It is also how we caught the pages we excluded: at least one widely-shared local Thanksgiving roundup is currently mixing 2025 hours into 2026 listings, and one well-indexed restaurant page we found for Thanksgiving packages turned out to be dated October 2020.

Knight’s was the hardest case and it shows why the test is worth the trouble. Its own website advertises Thanksgiving pre-orders on a banner with no year on it, under a footer that still reads 2023, which on its own proves nothing at all. The ordering lives in a separate storefront, and that storefront turned out to carry fully dated fulfilment windows: Wednesday, November 25 for the prepared meals, and Monday the 23rd through Wednesday the 25th for the fresh turkeys. Those weekday pairings are 2026 pairings. Better still, the two order deadlines are not printed as text anywhere; each pickup window carries its own lead time, and five separate windows with five different lead times all resolve to the same two instants, noon and 5pm on Friday, November 20. A stale page does not do that.

The short version

If you want someone else to cook: order by Friday, November 20 for Zingerman’s Deli or Knight’s Southside Market, Sunday, November 22 for Salt Springs or Gandy Dancer, Monday, November 23 for Busch’s.

If you want to sit down somewhere on the day: Weber’s and Gandy Dancer are the two confirmed in writing, and both want a reservation now rather than a walk-in then. The Habitat at Weber’s is the only confirmed first-come room.

If you are reading this on November 25 and you have nothing: Weber’s carryout takes orders during business hours on Thanksgiving Day itself, six entrees maximum.
